NIGHTFALL: TIME FLIES Returns To Green-Wood

This fall, under the glow of a full moon, thousands of visitors will be drawn to The Green-Wood Cemetery for an unforgettable experience—Nightfall: Time Flies. On Thursday, October 17th, and Friday, October 18th, from 7pm to 10pm, Green-Wood will come to life with an immersive journey along illuminated pathways, revealing surprises at every turn—from captivating musicians and storytellers to circus acts and cinematic wonders.

Dozens of stages will feature an eclectic mix of performances—each designed to delight and astonish. In collaboration with creative teams from across New York City, including Death of Classical and Rooftop Films, Green-Wood has curated a night to remember, with spellbinding entertainment provided by the Bindlestiff Family Cirkus and hauntingly beautiful tales spun by Morbid Anatomy.

“There's something profoundly magical about Green-Wood at night. The Cemetery becomes a canvas for artistic expression, inviting visitors to reflect on the passage of time while being enveloped in the beauty of the evening,” said Harry J. Weil, Green-Wood's vice president of education and public programs. “We are thrilled to welcome guests to two nights that will linger in their memories long after they leave.”

Nightfall: Time Flies is strictly for those 21 years and older; I.D. is required. This event takes place at night, in the dark, with only ambient lighting. Attendees are strongly encouraged to wear suitable footwear and bring flashlights. Some performances will involve walking up hills or stairs, as well as grassy and uneven terrain. Special note: the historic landscape and buildings are not ADA accessible.

Each evening will feature similar programming. Tickets are $80, and $75 for Green-Wood members. Entry is only permitted on the date stated on the ticket.
