Internationally renowned motivational speaker, and acclaimed pioneer of the YOUniverse theory, Chase Michaels has inspired tens of hundreds worldwide, and was recently named a Top Twelve Speaker in North America by Pure Potential magazine. Now Chase is coming to Brooklyn to share his most recent written revelation: Owning your YOUniverse: How and Why! The question is will he show up, and what happens if he doesn't? Part self help seminar and part clown show, The Most Beautiful Thing in the World will open your mind, explode your heart, and change your life in 60 minutes, tops.

Originally produced at Yale Cabaret in Fall 2013 and further developed at a residency at Boston University in Winter 2014. This production received subsidized rehearsal space provided by the A.R.T./New York Creative Space Grant, supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

Gabriel Levey (Writer and Performer) Most recently, An Octoroon (TFANA). A 2014 graduate of the Yale School of Drama, favorite shows include Vieux Carre (dir. Joan MacIntosh), This f-ing Commedia Project (dir. Christopher Bayes), Cloud Nine (dir. Margot Bordelon), and Twelfth Night (dir. Jessica Holt). Past New York credits include King Lear (La MaMa E.T.C. w/ Alvin Epstein);The Octoroon (P.S. 122); Ross, Linnea (Storm Theatre); Have I None, Mad Forest (Columbia Stages); Suicide Sundays (Producers Club); How I Won the Campbell Prize (Triskelion Arts); Theremin, Happy Sauce (New York Fringe Festival; and Lonesome Devil (Cloud City). As a theatre maker, Gabriel has created and performed work in residence at One Arm Red, NYU, Center for Performance Research, Brooklyn Arts Council, IRT, and the Yale Cabaret. Carter Gill (Director) currently in Commedia dell'Artichoke (Frances Black Projects) and most recently directed A Doctor in Spite of Himself adapted by Christopher Bayes & Stephen Epp, at Rider University's Bart Luedeke Center. He serves on the faculty as a clown and physical comedy instructor at Pace University, Rider University, NYU Tisch School of the Arts and The Studio New York. He is an Edith Wharton Award Recipient, and trained for several years as a teaching apprentice to Christopher Bayes at Juilliard and Yale School of Drama. Acting credits include - New York: Comedy (Lincoln Center Theatre's Directors' Lab); Sprawl by Joshua Conkel (Soho Rep); Spacebar by Michael Mitnick (Studio 42); Even Maybe Tammy directed by Christopher Bayes (Frances Black Projects & The Flea Theater); Becoming Mary directed by Charlotte Brathwaite (ArtPond). Kate Tarker (Co-Creator) plays include: THUNDERBODIES, An Almanac for Farmers and Lovers in Mexico, Laura and the Sea, Concertina, m.a.h. (a museum play), and the ten-minute play Paper Cut. Up next: Good Job Horses (A Majestic Comedy) at the Southern Theatre Minneapolis.Her work has been produced or developed by Primary Stages/ESPA at 59E59 Theaters, LOCAL lab in Boulder, the Theater Masters National MFA Playwrights Festival in Aspen/NYC, Nautilus Music Theater, and the National New Play Network MFA Workshop at the Kennedy Center. She is the recipient of the Kennedy Center's 2012 National Science Playwriting Award, a MacDowell Colony Fellowship, and two Stephen B. Timbers Scholarships (Yale). She has mentored playwrights at the New Haven Co-Op High School and the Pillsbury House Theatre, and taught playwriting at Wesleyan. Kate is a member of the Dramatists Guild. She earned her B.A. from Reed College and her M.F.A. from Yale School of Drama. She is currently a Jerome Fellow at the Playwrights' Center in Minneapolis.www.katetarker.com

Paul Lieber (Designer & Artistic Collaborator) is a Projection Designer, Playwright, Songwriter, and Performer. His design work has been seen at the Yale Repertory Theater, BAM, MaYi Theater Company and with the Elisa Monte and the Martha Graham Dance Companies.
