Comedy at Apex Marlborough: Steve Sweeney and Corey Rodrigues at Apex Entertainment Marlborough

On Friday, Jan. 30, Boston comedy superstar Steve Sweeney and breakout star Corey Rodrigues co-headline another incredible Comedy at Apex Entertainment Marlborough. Liam Hales hosts.

General admission tickets are $30 for the show, or enhance your event with VIP high-top tables ($160), each accomodating four guests. This exclusive seating comes with a dedicated server to cater to your food and beverage needs.

Show-only tickets are available for $35 (cash only) on the night of the show, if seats are available.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Doors to the private reception area open at 6, and guests are welcome to come early to order dinner or have drinks before the show. The showroom opens at 7:30.

Charlestown-born Steve Sweeney is a legendary Boston comedian known as a master of dialects and character voices. With his famous Boston accent and great insight into human nature, Sweeney is so thoroughly Bostonian that he merits his own stop on the MBTA Green Line. He has appeared in dozens of films and televisions shows including Letterman, 2019’s Sweeney Killing Sweeney (in which he spoofed his own persona), as well as Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer, Rodney Dangerfield’s Back to School, The Farelly Brothers’ There’s Something About Mary, and Me, Myself and Irene, and several others. He is a frequent guest on Boston radio and was host of the morning-drive Sweeney’s Neighborhood on WZLX (100.7 FM).

Corey Rodrigues has been rocking stages for 15 plus years. He’s been seen on HBO, Dry Bar, Epix, TruTv, Amazon Prime, Late Night with Conan O'Brien and heard on Sirius XM Satellite Radio. He is the winner of numerous comedy festivals and has amassed well over 50 million views on the Internet worldwide.

Liam Hales is one of the biggest up-and-coming comics in the world right now...literally. A mountain of a man, he views the world through the lens of a ferocious Teddy Bear. He brings an infectious smile and energy with him to the stage and is comfortable in all venues, from bars to 1,000-seat auditoriums. His topics are wide and varied from his Viking ancestry, his love of science, and the folly of life as a Giant.
