Whistler in the Dark continues to bring their Dark Day explorations to Boston with Close-Up: An Evening of Theatre inspired by their main stage production of Craig Wright's Recent Tragic Events which runs at The Factory Theatre March 9th through the 24th.
In a 24-hour news-cycle world, our personal reactions to major world events can get lost in the sea of voices coming from our televisions and radios, press notes state. Whistler in the Dark invites audiences to share in an evening of up-close accounts and personal explorations of events from this past year - events including the Occupy movement, the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 and more. Join Whistler as local artists explore a tumultuous year through poetry, storytelling, music and theatre.
