As their daughter's wedding day descends into a riotous farce, Doc and Delia Coleman rediscover their marriage and their souls in Lewis Black's One Slight Hitch, opening at Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater July 27. Black, the popular political comedian featured on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart brings us an astonishing script that has been called a cross between The Philadelphia Story and Noises Off. Stage, TV, and film stars Mark Linn-Baker and Lizbeth MacKay are Doc and Delia Coleman.

Mark Linn-Baker (Doc Coleman) is beloved as the golden-age-of-television assistant for Peter O'Toole's alcoholic character in the 1982 film My Favorite Year. Mark is known, too, as cousin Larry Appleton, with Bronson Pinchot as Balki, in the hit Tv series Perfect Strangers. Mark starred in the Broadway revival of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, with Nathan Lane, and with Carol Burnett in the film Noises Off.

Lizbeth MacKay (Delia Coleman) s performed on Broadway in All My Sons, The Price, Abe Lincoln in Illinois, The Heiress, Doubt, Death and the Maiden, and Crimes of the Heart for which she won Theatre World, Outer Circle Critics, and Hollywood Dramalogue Awards. Her numerous Off Broadway credits include The Forest, Durang Durang, Kate's Diary, and Square One. Lisbeth's feature film credits include Malcolm X, Marvin's Room, and One True Thing.

Lewis Black is a two-time Grammy Award-winning comic who has been a regular commentator on The Daily Show since its inception. He has done six Comedy Central specials, two for HBO, and two for Epix that he self-produced entitled "Stark Raving Black" and "In God We Rust." As an actor, he's appeared in over a dozen films including Man of the Year and Accepted and was the host of his own show, "The Root of All Evil" on Comedy Central. He's authored three books, Nothing's Sacred, Me of Little Faith, and I'm Dreaming of a Black Christmas, all of which debuted on the New York Times Bestseller List. Having written over 40 plays, his work has been performed throughout the country, including the Magic Theatre, the Alley Theatre, EST and The Public Theatre. Notable plays include The Laundry Hour, The Czar of Rock and Roll, The Deal, Crossing the Crab Nebula, and Nightfall. He was the playwright-in-residence at the West Bank Cafe Downstairs Theatre Bar in New York City where he helped oversee the production of over a thousand new one-act plays. In 2008, he was honored by the Williamstown Theatre Festival having taught and performed there for over ten years. The festival produced his play, Slight Hitch, in their 2011 season. In 2012, Slight Hitch was produced in Seattle by ACT and also by the George Street Playhouse in New Brunswick, NJ.
