WHAT WE WERE Receives World Premiere Workshop Image

Jackson & Caitlin Teeley, in cooperation with The Egremont Barn, is proud to announce the world premiere stage-workshop production What We Were, a new musical. What We Were is a stage adaptation of the 2015 short film by the same name created by Jackson Teeley, Corey Potter and Wilder Bunke. This world premiere workshop features the original three songs from the short film, plus an expanded score with music and lyrics by Jackson Teeley, and an original book by Jackson & Caitlin Teeley.

What We Were deals with woven moments from the past and present, as a pair of siblings must learn to let go of their former selves in order to navigate their current situations. With the assistance of old friends and blurred memories, they set out to define what home means once you've left it.

This marks the first original workshop of a musical produced by The Egremont Barn. Directed by Jackson and Caitlin Teeley, with Music Direction by Mike Pacifico, What We Were features Ali Louis-Bourzgui, Brianna Nicola, Caitlin Teeley, Caroline Fairweather, Jackson Teeley, and Joey Labrasca, all residents of Berkshire County.

What We Were runs August 18th at 8pm and August 20 at 2pm & 8pm, and will be performed in The Egremont Barn, 17 Main St. South Egremont MA, 01258. To purchase tickets, visit www.theegremontbarn.com. Tickets are $10.

Jackson Teeley is a talent the Times Square Chronicles has called "a welcome new arrival onto the musical theatre scene."

The Egremont Barn is an entertainment venue for music, dancing, and now theatre. It is open Wednesdays through Sundays, 5pm to close, with food and full bar service. For more information, email info@theegremontbarn.com
