Single tickets to the remaining six productions of the Huntington Theatre Company's 2013-2014 Season will go on sale to the general public at midnight on Tuesday, August 6. Single tickets to The Jungle Book, which was recently extended due to popular demand through October 13, 2013, are on sale now. The upcoming season from the recipient of the 2013 Regional Theatre Tony Award and Best of Boston 2013 winner features the return of many celebrated artists who are beloved by Boston audiences.

Tickets (starting at $25; discounts available to subscribers, members of the military, WBUR, WGBH, and the BU community, and those aged 35 and under) will be available: online at huntingtontheatre.org beginning at 12am, by phone at 617 266 0800 beginning at 12pm, in person at the Avenue of the Arts / BU Theatre (264 Huntington Ave.) and the South End/Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA (527 Tremont Street) Box Offices beginning at 12pm.

The most affordable way to see Huntington productions is with a subscription. Seven-play packages including The Jungle Book are the best value and start at just $126. FlexPass packages starting with a minimum of 4 tickets that can be used for any show and never expire are also available. Continuing its 31-season tradition, the Huntington will present world-class productions of new works and classics made current created by the best local and national talent in 2013-2014. The varied lineup of productions includes a sharp new work by Boston's most recent Broadway playwright, a moving new drama, a sexy smash Broadway comedy, a contemporary comic revival, a ravishing new musical adaptation, a stirring world premiere by the Huntington's playwright-in-residence, and a master's classic brought to life by two outstanding interpreters of his work.

THE 2013-2014 SEASON LINEUP

- The Jungle Book, a ravishing new musical based on the Disney animated film and the stories of Rudyard Kipling; book and direction by Mary Zimmerman (Candide); produced in association with the Goodman Theatre; at the Boston University Theatre September 7 - October 13, 2013 (extended by popular demand)

- The Power of Duff, a moving new drama by Stephen Belber; directed by Peter DuBois (Sons of the Prophet and Rapture, Blister, Burn); at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA October 11 - November 9, 2013

- The Cocktail Hour, a comedy on the rocks by A. R. Gurney (The Dining Room and The Snowball), directed by Maria Aitken (Betrayal and Private Lives); at the BU Theatre November 15 - December 15, 2013

- Venus in Fur, a sexy new comedy by David Ives, directed by Daniel Goldstein (God of Carnage); at the BU Theatre January 3 - February 2, 2014

- The Seagull, the passionate classic by Anton Chekhov; translated by Paul Schmidt; directed by Nicholas Martin and starring Kate Burton (The Corn is Greenand The Cherry Orchard); at the BU Theatre March 7 - April 6, 2014

- Becoming Cuba, a stirring new drama by Huntington Playwright-in-Residence Melinda Lopez (Sonia Flew); directed by M. Bevin O'Gara; at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA March 28 - April 26, 2014

- Smart People, a sharp new play by Huntington Playwriting Fellow Lydia R. Diamond (Stick Fly); directed by Peter DuBois (Sons of the Prophet and the upcoming Rapture, Blister, Burn); at the Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA May 23 - June 21, 2014
