The Center for the Arts at Natick (TCAN) presents THE WAYBACKS on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 8:00pm.

The folk and roots underpinnings that have long been a Waybacks hallmark are still there, but after years of playing a huge range of venues and festivals, touring with Grateful Dead founder Bob Weir, and reconfiguring themselves around the hot guitar of James Nash and the fiddle virtuosity of Warren Hood, The Waybacks are enjoying a refreshed repertoire - one that's touched by Memphis soul, honky-tonk, Parisian swing, classical music, Led Zep, vintage blue pop and much more besides.

Admission is $22 for members and $18 for the members only presale. Students and seniors get a $1 discount. Visit www.waybacks.com.

The mission of The Center for Arts in Natick is to bring people together...through the arts.

TCAN provides a cultural center to the MetroWest Boston region, where national and emerging artists present performances, literary events, and art exhibitions in an environment that brings together individuals and families, children and seniors. Classes in music, theatre, dance and visual arts are regularly held for students of all ages.
