The Kerry Jon Walker Fund (KJWF), a non-profit organization dedicated to helping humanity and supporting those affected by poverty, presents its benefit night out World Dance Party, on Saturday, March 23, at 7 pm, at Players Sports Bar & Grille, 86 VFW Drive, Rockland. All proceed support the fund's mission, including mission service trips for teens supporting sustainable programs to improve health, education, and economic opportunity for those in need.

Shake off the winter doldrums and dance into spring for a great cause! World Dance Party welcomes adult fans of all ages to dance to world music beat of award-winning Afro-pop stars Kalifa & Koliba. A "Balloon Pop" gives attendees the opportunity to win original art and crafts from Africa. Guests enjoy a buffet of hearty appetizers, games, silent auction, raffle opportunities, surprises and more!

KJWF provides financially challenged urban teen students the opportunity to create global objectivity and travel abroad in charitable service. To date, KJWF has sponsored 20 Boston students mission trips to Rwanda, where they have served 500 orphaned teens at the Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village. While providing service to this community abroad, the Boston teens, most never having never traveled out of the country, gained a new understanding of the developing world.

Founded in 2010, enhancing the education of youth is at the heart of The Kerry Jon Walker Fund's mission. Amongst its accomplishments, KJWF provided 3000 lbs. of books, maps and educational materials, as well as school uniforms, to village schools in Guinea, West Africa. The community ranks amongst the poorest in the world, home to the region's most deprived children.

Tickets to KJWF's World Dance Party are $50, or in bundles of 6 for $250, 10 for $400, for adults age 21 and over, in advance online at thekerryfund.org/events-1/. Tickets will also be available at the door, limited to venue capacity. To learn more or support the Kerry Jon Walker Fund, email mikey@thekerryfund.org, or visit thekerryfund.org.
