The GroovaLottos Phunk Party Comes to Beatnik's In Worcester

Multi -Grammy nominated, powerhouse soul-funk-blues band, The GroovaLottos bring their 'Phunk Party' concert to one of Worcester's legendary live music venues. May 26 @ 9PM the party is at Beatnik's, 433 Park Ave, Worcester. Cover is $5.

A rising band on the soul music and jam band scenes, The GroovaLottos are comprised of award-winning and veteran studio session and touring players; said to play with their souls instead of their hands, The GroovaLottos are a fellowship of life-long musical journeymen on a mission to unlock the spirit and turn each show into a party.

First coming to international attention in 2016 when their debut single "Do You Mind(IfWeDanceWitYoDates)?" premiered on the Indie Blues/ Americana Charts at number 12 after being introduced on the 'Direct From Muscle Shoals' radio show out of Alabama and the "American Indian Truths" radio show out of DC. The song spent 41 weeks in the top ten.

Released in 2017, their debut album "Ask Yo' Mama" was picked up by over 500 radio stations and web streams for regular rotation, ending up on the Jam Band Charts as well as earning 4 Grammy nominations in Pop and R&B. The band was also selected to open the Gathering Of Nations Powwow in Albuquerque, NM, performing for 48,000+ people.

The GroovaLottos show at Beatnik's comes one week before the stat of their summer street concert tour, The Phunk Hits 2018, with dates throughout New England as well as New York city and the DMV.
