The Dirty Dottys Coming to ImprovBoston
By: Tyler Peterson
Local indie pop sensation The Dirty Dottys are coming to ImprovBoston for the theater's weekly Spotlight Series, which highlights the stories and works of Boston area VIPs.
ImprovBoston's seasoned Mainstage cast will invite the band on stage to tell a few stories and play a few songs, which will inspire a series of hilarious scenes and improv games. The Dirty Dottys play infectious motown-style pop on unconventional instruments like vibraphones, trumbones, and ukuleles. The band won 'Pop Act of the Year' from The New England Music Awards. Mainstage Spotlight Series, Featuring The Dirty Dottys starts Thursday, May 12th at 7:30PM. Tickets are $18, $14 students at the door and available online at improvboston.com.
