The Colonial Theatre Welcomes POWER BALLADZ, 2/9

Power Balladz: The Ultimate 80's Sing-Along offers a one of a kind interactive concert experience to Colonial theatre audience members on Saturday, February 9 at 8pm.

Tickets to Power Balladz: The Ultimate 80's Sing-Along are $25. Contact the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South Street, Pittsfield by calling 413-997-4444. Tickets can also be bought online at www.berkshiretheatregroup.org. The Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday 10am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-2pm or on any performance day from 10am until curtain.

Power Balladz celebrates the best music of the 70's, 80's and 90's with a show that is part Wayne's World-like comedy, part interactive game show and part ultimate rock and roll concert. According to Backstage, this interactive concert experience is "For anyone who wants to relive a time when music was loud and the hair was big."

Best of Broadway says "Take your friends, a huge group of them. Sing along. It'll be one of the best nights you've had in a long time," and according to Talk Entertainment, "It's a blast from start to finish and then some." Even the New York Times loved Power Balladz, calling it "a loving tribute to the heyday of the hair band, when Aqua Net ruled and MTV played videos."

Power Balladz features songs such as "Sister Christian," "Faithfully," "November Rain," "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "Dream On," and many more classics. After successful runs in Minneapolis and New York City, Power Balladz is coming to Pittsfield, and Colonial audience members better get ready to rock on!
