The 28th Annual Elliot Norton Awards

The Boston Theater Critics Association, Monday, May 17 at Paramount Theatre

The Boston Theater Critics Association held the 28th Annual Elliot Norton Awards Ceremony on Monday night at the newly refurbished Paramount Theatre. Guests of Honor were Tony Shalhoub and Brooke Adams, currently appearing together on Broadway in Lend Me a Tenor. Master of Ceremonies was Joyce Kulhawik, onstage Solo Pianist was Barry Rocklin, and members of the Boston Theater Critics Association presented the awards. Karen MacDonald, a founding member of The American Repertory Theatre, was the recipient of the Elliot Norton Prize for Sustained Excellence, and StageSource gave its annual Theatre Hero Award to Michael Maso, Managing Director of the Huntington Theatre Company.
