Team Stoneham Theatre Runners Gear Up for 2012 Boston Marathon
Stoneham Theatre's team of distance runners is hard at work in training for its third Boston Marathon. They are making the trek from Hopkinton to Boston once again to raise philanthropic support for Metro North's award-winning professional theatre and home of the acclaimed young company, where students explore the wonders of the stage and receive training in a professional theatrical environment.
Patrons of local restaurants can help the team towards its ambitious fund raising goal of $55,000 by taking part in "Dining for Dollars" at the following locations and times:
Blackhorse Tavern, 32 Waterfield Road, Winchester
From 4:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Monday March 5
Bertucci's, 45 Walker's Brook Drive, Reading
All day (lunch and dinner) on Monday, March 19.
Patrons who mention that they're Dining for Dollars will automatically have a portion of the proceeds from their meals earmarked for Stoneham Theatre.
Team Stoneham Theatre comprises:
- Melissa Symes Patalano - Owner of Melissa's Main Street Bistro in Stoneham. Running her second Boston Marathon and third overall.
- Rick Corapi - Stoneham businessman and Wakefield resident, marking his 50th birthday by running his first marathon ever.
