Spirit Medium Maureen Hancock Raises Funds for The Friends of the State Theatre Tonight

By:

Internationally renowned spirit medium Maureen Hancock presents a fundraiser to benefit The Friends of the State Theatre (FOST), a non-profit volunteer organization committed to preserving and revitalizing Stoughton's historic State Theatre.

POSTCARDS FROM HEAVEN will be held tonight, October 7, from 7 to 9 pm, at Stoughton High School's auditorium, 232 Pearl Street. Admission is $40 for adults and teens age 14+ up, special VIP tickets are sold out.

All proceeds benefit FOST's mission to restore and operate the historic State Theatre for the benefit of the community, and to provide enriching cultural experiences in dance, music, theatrical performances, visual art, literary readings and film events to the region.

Using her light-hearted humor, Maureen Hancock's POSTCARDS FROM HEAVEN combines her gift of spirit communication with her witty sense of humor, taking the edge off of the overwhelming subject matter of death. Maureen's mind-blowing connections bring her audience members from tears to laughter.

A Stoughton native, Maureen Hancock is an intuitive teacher, lecturer and holistic healer, helping individuals to flex their intuitive muscle, and tap into messages from spirit, bringing comfort, hope and healing to audiences. She is the author of the bestselling book, "The Medium Next Door: Adventures of a Real-Life Ghost Whisperer," and the star of the Style Network documentary, Psychic in Suburbia. Hancock has been featured around the world on CNN, Associated Press, VH1, Martha Stewart Living, The Boston Globe, and on television programs all over the country. Maureen has been a recurring guest on the Ricki Lake Show, and recently filmed a major network television pilot for a talk show.

Doors open at 6 pm for POSTCARDS FROM HEAVEN registration and seating. Not all audience members will be selected for a reading.
