Like many of Broadway and cabaret's best, Marilyn Maye spent a bit of time in Provincetown this summer, entertaining with the great Billy Stritch at The Art House.

While in town she cruised in a convertible while chatting with Roger Walker-Dack of Provincetown Community Television. In this clip, she tells of a recording of hers that was honored by the Smithsonian Institution.

Though Marilyn Maye has never performed on Broadway, in the 1960s she was the go-to singer to record singles from the scores of upcoming shows. Her hits from that era include "Cabaret," "I'll Never Fall In Love Again," "Sherry" and "Step To The Rear."
