Regis College Announces Christmas Concert & Merry Mingle

The Regis College Alumni Chorus presents the annual Christmas Concert & Merry Mingle on Sunday, December 2 at the Regis College Fine Arts Center, 235 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA 02493. The Merry Mingle begins at 2:00pm with the concert to follow at 3:00pm. General admission adult tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door; general admission child tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Advance tickets may be purchased by visiting regiscollege.edu/fac.

Enjoy a festive afternoon that will include treats, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cookie decorating, mingling, and more! The concert will include excerpts from Handel's Messiah and traditional carols such as Silent Night sung by candlelight. Performers include the Regis College Alumni Chorus, Glee Singers, Chamber Singers, Handbell Choir, and Instrumental Ensemble. The Christmas Concert and Merry Mingle are presented in conjunction with The Office of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Relations.

"Handel's Messiah provides the soundtrack for the Christmas season to many people," said Heather Josselyn-Cranson, associate professor of Music and Humanities. "So we're delighted to offer this beautiful, traditional telling of the Christmas story to our audience. In addition, we will share popular, religious, and classical Christmas favorites."

The Christmas Concert directors include Doug Anderson, Dr. Heather Josselyn-Cranson, OSL; Dr. Elizabeth M. Smith, and Paul Huberdeau, Piano.
