Reagle's 49th Summer Season Opens with JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT Tonight

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston opens its 49th consecutive summer season this weekend with the irresistible Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. The musical will run from June 8-18, 2017, for eight performances at the Robinson Theatre (617 Lexington St. Waltham, MA, 02452). Star power lights up the stage as country recording artist and American Idol alum Ayla Brown reprises her role as "Narrator." Also appearing are regional favorites and IRNE award nominees Peter Mill as "Joseph" and Andrew Giordano as "Pharaoh", alongside a delightful children's chorus of 20 voices from Newton, S. Kingston, Lincoln, Lexington, Brookline, Burlington, Chestnut Hill, Bedford, Wellesley, Waltham, Wilmington and Winchester, MA.

This family-friendly musical is set in ancient Egypt with a delightfully modern musical score. Directed and Choreographed by Susan Chebookjian, Producing Artistic Director Robert J. Eagle.

Joseph is the story of a boy in a vibrant coat of many colors who is gifted with God's blessing in the form of dream interpretation. Set to a myriad of musical styles including country-western, calypso, bubble-gum pop, and rock 'n' roll, Joseph is full of unforgettable songs including "Those Canaan Days," "Any Dream Will Do," and "Close Every Door." Reagle's 2017 summer season will continue with Show Boat, the epic tale of life on the Mississippi (July 6-16, starring Ciaran Sheehan and Sarah Oakes Muirhead), and the musical comedy 42nd Street, a high energy production about a bright-eyed chorus girl with big Broadway dreams (August 3-13, Staring Broadway's Tom Wopat and Rachel York).

Single adult tickets for each production in Reagle's 49th Summer Season are $37-$65; discounts apply for seniors, students and groups of 10 or more. Student rush seats at 50% off are available one hour before curtain with a valid college ID.
