Reagle Music Theatre to Revive REMEMBERING THE 40'S Revue, 10/5-6

Reagle Music Theatre of Greater Boston (RMT), pays tribute to an America sentimental journey with the revival of their popular original musical revue Remembering the 40's on Saturday, October 5, at 2 and 7 pm, and Sunday, October 6 at 2 pm at Reagle Music Theatre, 617 Lexington Street, Waltham. Veterans of all wars are honored guests with free admission, who are welcome to appear wearing service attire or uniform, adding a deep sense of patriotism to the production.

Back by popular demand, Remembering the 40's takes the audience down memory lane with a cherished tribute to big bands, blackouts, Doughboys, Rosie the Riveter and radio shows through the music of Glen Miller, The Andrews Sisters, Bob Hope, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Kate Smith, and the likes of Burns and Allen and Abbott and Costello rounding out the nostalgic sights and sounds of a beloved era in American history. The War Front, the Home Front, Big Band, Swing, Radio, 40's Hollywood and Broadway share center stage. RMT's cavalcade of musical theater stars hit the stage in full force, reliving the Rexall Radio Hour, nostalgia of old-time holidays, Broadway in its' heyday, a show-stopping U.S.O show and more.

An exclusive arrangement features the World Famous Precision Dancers in the production, with 12 former Radio City Music Hall Rockettes from across the country, choreographed by former Rockette Sandra Philpott. Remembering the 40'sfeatures classic sentimental repertoire from the beloved era, including "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "I'll Be Seeing You," "This Is the Army," "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy," "There Is Nothing Like a Dame" from South Pacific and the rousing title number from Oklahoma! Talented RMT impressionists recreate classic comic routines like Abbott and Costello's "Who's on First?" and Jack Benny and Mel Blanc's "Si Sy Sue." When the entire theater joins the cast in singing Kate Smith's version of "God Bless America," the rafters shake with pride.

Tickets for Remembering the 40's are $35 to $50 for adults, $32 to $47 for seniors, $25 for youth ages 5 to 18, with all war veterans admitted free of charge by reservation. Student rush seats at 50% off are available one hour before curtain with a valid college ID.
