When matchmaker, Dolly Gallagher Levi, is hired to arrange a marriage for the miserly half-a-millionaire, Horace Vandergelder, she finds him the perfect mate - herself! But first she must rejoin the race of life she stopped running when she was widowed and win the heart of her unsuspecting "husband-to-be". HELLO, DOLLY! is an ebullient and irresistible story of the joy of living, glittering with happy songs, high-energy choreography, elaborate costumes, and shining with loving scenes alive with the personality of one of the most fabulous characters on the musical stage...Dolly Gallagher Levi.
