Photo Flash: First Look at Cape Playhouse's FOOTLOOSE

By:

Cut loose and kick off your Sunday shoes with Footloose, opening at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis, Massachusetts. Fresh off a wonderfully received and critically acclaimed run of The Graduate, the Cape Playhouse shows no signs of slowing down as they plow full speed ahead with the explosive and rocking musical Footloose.

John Jeffrey Martin will star as Ren McCormack, a city boy who turns a small town upside down when he moves in and falls in love with the preacher's daughter (Chelsea Morgan Stock). The impressive cast boasts many Broadway credits and the Cape Playhouse is thrilled to welcome back some of the theatre's favorite alumni, including Maureen Brennan, George Dvorsky, and Director Mark Martino.

Featuring an Oscar-nominated score and non-stop, high-energy dancing, Footloose is sure to have you dancing in your seat and cheering for more. The show is a musical celebration of life, youth, and acceptance, and includes the songs "Footloose," "Let's Hear It for The Boy," "Holdin' Out for a Hero," and "Almost Paradise," to name a few.

Footloose runs from July 25 through August 6. Performances are every evening Monday through Saturday at 8 PM. Matinees are Wednesdays and the second Thursday at 2 PM, first Saturday at 4 PM. The Cape Playhouse is located at 820, Route 6A, Dennis, MA. For tickets call the Box Office at 877-385-3911, or visit http://capeplayhouse.com.
