Peregrine Theatre Ensemble Presents Noel Coward's Paranormal Farce BLITHE SPIRIT, 10/3-10/20

Peregrine Theatre Ensemble,presents Noel Coward's famous comedy 'Blithe Spirit', directed by William Sturdivant. 'Blithe Spirit' opens Friday, October 4th, 2013 and runs through Sunday, October 20th on the Julie Harris Stage/Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater in Wellfleet, Mass. Performances are Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm,and Sundays at 2pm.

While working on a novel about the occult, Charles Condomine decides to get a feel for the 'real thing' by inviting Madame Arcati, an eccentric medium, to hold a séance at his house. Her 'other-wordly' efforts inadvertently summon the ghost of his first wife, Elvira, who has been dead for seven years. Mayhem and hilarity are inevitable when Elvira and Charles' new wife Ruth don't exactly co-exist.

The talented ensemble of actors includes Whitney Hudsonas Ruth Condomine (The Acting Company, University of MN/Guthrie Theater alum) Jake Fordas Charles Condomine (Hudson Valley Shakespeare, University of MN/Guthrie Theater alum) Ben Berry as Elvira (Artistic Director of Peregrine Theatre Ensemble, University of MN/Guthrie Theater alum) Jane Macdonaldas Madame Arcati (Edward Gorey's CHINESE GOSSIP) Lacey A. Waiteas Violet Condomine, Andrew Clemons as George Condomine, and Edwige Yinglingas Edith. The production team includes Carol Sherry (Costume Design), Michael Steers (Set Design), Christopher Heilman (Lighting Design) and Tessa Bry Taylor (Production Manager).
