Steps off Broadway Productions, Inc., will be performing the stage production of Peter Pan on July 6, 7, 12, 13, 14 (call for times).

Steps Off Broadway, well known for its quality semi-professional shows, is launching its first annual Summer Stage Season in Bellingham. Artistic Director, Keith Mottola, has announced the first annual educational summer stage season for members of the community. Local actors, technicians, artists and more will all be involved in each production. In addition, Mr. Mottola has assembled a professional guest artist creative team to direct each show. Workshops for each production will also be given by professionals from New York, Los Angeles, and Florida.

The first guest director is Kristopher Kyer, Hollywood Acting coach for ABC-TV shows Boy Meets World, Grace Under Fire, as well as being Ringmaster of the Greatest Show On Earth. Kyer will also be playing the role of Captain Hook in Peter Pan. Kyer is followed 3 amazing directors; Michael Newton Brown, lighting designer and technical director from Florida who has directed and designed hundreds of shows for stars, Cheryl Swift from New York City who is most known as the dance captain for Beauty and the Beast, and Jimmy Ferraro, who is an Equity actor recently touring as Tevye in the National Tour of Fiddler on the Roof.

"We here at Steps Off Broadway have decided to raise the bar for the local community." Mr. Mottola states. "In recent years we have been bringing professional Equity artists to teach and direct and appear in our shows, allowing local talent the opportunity to learn and work with the best". "I've decided to present a complete summer season of shows, which includes Peter Pan, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and Fiddler on the Roof."

Mottola says offering this kind of family fare and entertainment, as well as a summer educational program, will help to cultivate local talent.
