A Bright Room Called Day by Tony Kushner

Longwood's first full-length show in Chelsea is Tony Kushner's searing A Bright Room Called Day - Kushner's exploration of what happens to artists and friends as democracy fails. According to Sid Smith of the Chicago Tribune, A Bright Room Called Day is "is unabashedly political, thought-provoking, a little scary, and frequently a good deal of theatrical fun."

Artistic Director Kaitlyn Chantry's vision for A Bright Room Called Day is unlike any previous Longwood production, with the set and seating scattered throughout the theater, and even offering a limited number of seats on stage.

A Bright Room Called Day features Brooke Casanova, Holly Newman, Evelyn Holley, Anthony Mullin, Andy Moore, Taylor Hilliard, Nicole Ventura, Nicole Frattaroli, Ruth Johnson, and Chad Gobert.
