ImprovBoston Presents COMEDY, AMERICA!

ImprovBoston proudly celebrates what's great, absurd, and idiotic about the good ol' US of A - from turducken to square dancing - in the fun, light-hearted sketch comedy revue Comedy, America! On June 16th, 23rd, and 30th, ImprovBoston lovingly pokes fun at the country we're proud to call home.

The four year-old ImprovBoston tradition, Comedy, America! boasts new material and a creative team of mostly women, giving audiences of all political viewpoints a look at 'Murica through a much-needed new lens.

"This past year has been a volatile one for the country," explains Comedy, America! Director Emmy Serviss. "We want our audiences to walk away feeling lighter in spirit - maybe even hopeful. No matter how bad it gets, we have so much to celebrate... and so much to make fun of!"

For over 30 years, ImprovBoston has been New England's leading theater and school dedicated to the art of comedy in all its forms. As a nonprofit arts organization, ImprovBoston serves the community through laughter with youth outreach programs, workshops for businesses, scholarships, a national touring company and, of course, performances at its theater complex in Central Square, Cambridge.
