Dame Edna visits Boston with her new show, "Dame Edna - My First Last Tour" April 16th through 19th at the Colonial Theatre.

In My First Last Tour, Edna displays her unique genius with a new and vibrantly stimulating theatrical infrastructure (to use her own vivid phrase), addressing an exciting range of cutting edge comedy solutions. Edna also welcomes her dysfunctional daughter Valmai on-stage.

Touted as a "meditation on gender and post-election trauma," the evening offers die-hard Edna fans and newcomers alike a chance to relax, laugh, and laugh some more. Expect singing, dancing, pop culture discussion, audience interaction, and maybe even a psychic reading.

"I call this my stimulus package," Everage says. "I'm stimulating a rather worried and anxious audience. These are not easy times for Americans." Instead of bailout money, audiences will receive "bailout laughter." To read Edge Boston's entire hilarious interview with Dame Edna, click here.

Other upcoming dates for My First Last Tour include:

June 2 to June 7
San Diego, Civic Theatre

June 9 to June 21
Los Angeles, Ahmanson Theater

June 23 to June 28
Fort Worth, Bass Performance Hall
