Happy Medium Theatre has announced the first adventure of its 5th season! They are teaming up with Boston native (but now Chicago-based) Krista D'Agostino on a brand new work called For the Falls by Emily Dendinger (Hideous Progeny, Swimming After Dark).

Ms. D'Agostino will return to Boston to direct this ONE NIGHT ONLY staged reading at The Factory Theatre on August 25th. The reading begins promptly at 7pm.

For the Falls by Emily Dendinger is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's famous 'Falling Water.' The year is 1962 and up-and-coming composer Victor has been killed suddenly in a car crash. His friends and family gather to spread his ashes into the waterfall at the home of Victor's best friend. In the face of untimely death, For the Falls examines how we evaluate the choices we've made in the past and how they impact the choices we will make in the future.

Featuring:

Victor Shopov as Eliot
Julia Specht as Marion
Mikey DiLoreto as Andrew
Kiki Samko as Veronica
Audrey Lynn Sylvia as Dorothy
Nick Miller as Carl
Michael Underhill as Jack
Artistic Staff:

Krista D'Agostino -- Director
Emily Dendinger -- Playwright
Deirdre Benson -- Stage Manager
Elizabeth Battey -- Stage Directions
Lydia Anderson -- Dramaturg

The theatre is anticipating a big turn out (I mean, come on, it's Krista), so please email mikeydiloreto@gmail.com to reserve a seat. Tickets are a suggested donation of $5. And, as always, there'll be some nice refreshments.
