Halloween Eve Performances Of New, Queer NOSFERATU Announced
![]()
Milky Way Coffee Roasters presents their inaugural workshop production - a queer contemporary adaptation of the original vampire tale, Nosferatu.
Milky Way Coffee Roasters is a new collaboration of young theatre makers in the Boston area. We hope to expand the limits of theatre being produced in the region, especially in regards to stories about diverse people and in the genres we explore on stage. Milky Way Coffee Roasters wants to see queer and femme bodies telling not just their own stories, but the stories that belong to all of us- stories of fantasy and horror that show us the things that could be real, whether in our dreams or nightmares.
Sloth Levine adapts and directs this one night only presentation at the Mosesian Center for the Arts Black Box on October 31st, at 7:30PM and 9:30PM. Tickets are $18, including fees.
The cast and creative team is composed almost entirely of queer and/or nonbinary artists. Actors/musicians are Boston locals Siobhan Carroll, Katie Grindeland, Rebecca Elowe, Felton Sparks, MARGE, and Kathryn Turner. Designers and production team include composer Alissa Voth, stage manager Hannah Pryfogle, production design Sloth Levine and Katie Grindeland, lighting design Read Davidson.
