Glynis Bell Lead's THE LION IN WINTER at Provincetown Town Hall
Susan Grilli and Provincetown Counter Productions is thrilled to announce the cast and creative team for its strictly limited engagement of James Goldman'sThe Lion in Winter.
Broadway and Television's Glynis Bell, who recently covered Valerie Harper in the role of Tallulah Bankhead in Broadway's Looped will lead the cast as Eleanor. Joining her is Ethan Paulini, Joe MacDougall, Sean K. Maddox, Jared Hagan and Ashlea Potts. Susan Grilli directs.
Performances will take place in the newly refurbished Provincetown Town Hall on Commercial St. Opening night is set for Friday, March 25 at 7:30pm with performances continuing on Saturday, March 26th at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm and 7:30pm. Glynis Bell's Broadway/National Tours: Looped, The Vagina Monologues, Amadeus, My Fair Lady, The Robber Bridegroom, The Time of Your Life, and Heartbreak House. Off-Broadway she has appeared in Jewtopia, Richard III, Blithe Spirit, Badge, Pera Palas, and Sleep Deprivation Chamber. Her regional credits include Underneath the Lintel, Martha Mitchell Calling, Romeo and Juliet, Woman Before a Glass, The Retreat From Moscow, Major Barbara, Kid Simple, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Six Degrees of Separation, Driving Miss Daisy, Macbeth, and The Way of the World. Television: twelve episodes of all three Law & Order series as, variously, a judge, a lawyer, a mother and a gynecologist.
