Cotuit Center For The Arts Hosts Summer Music Series 7/24, 7/25, & 7/31

As part of their 2009 Summer Music Series, "Art on the Walls...Music in the Halls", Cotuit Center for the Arts, 4404 Falmouth Road, Rte. 28 in Cotuit presents the Kate Taylor Band on Friday, July 24 at 8pm. Kate's musical roots delve deep into the American music genres of rhythm and blues, folk, gospel, country, rockabilly, Appalachian bluegrass, and rock and roll.
On Saturday, July 25 at 8pm it's HAVANA NIGHTS with the Mike Garvan Group, a 6-piece band playing original Latin Jazz infused with Brazilian, Cuban & Caribbean styles & rhythms and featuring special guest artist, Michael Oakland, the "Tropic Gypsy".Tickets for each of the concerts are $20. Concerts are for adults 21+; ID required.The final concert in this series is by the Duke Robillard Band, at 8pm on Saturday, July 31. Duke Robillard, a four-time winner as Best Guitarist at the Blues Music Awards, has been thrilling audiences for over three decades. Duke's playing is a marvel to behold as is the depth of his feeling for the blues; yet, his virtuosity never overpowers the songs. Tickets for this adult 21+ concert are $25.
