By: BWW News Desk
The XX PlayLab is a collaborative program of the Boston Center for the Arts and Company One Theatre, designed to propel the work of female playwrights from development to production. The festival will run June 6-8, 2014 at the BCA Plaza Theatre.
Writers at various stages of their careers receive mentorship, dramaturgical support and advocacy through a process that culminates in an annual festival, positioning new works in context of local and national conversations about the new play sector.
Discover the ideas that shape our city and nation's vibrant new play sector with this year's XX PlayLab artists. This weekend-long festival of new work will feature panel discussions, staged readings and talkbacks with the playmakers. For more information visit bcaonline.org or companyone.org.
