Blue Man Group Boston is teaming up with the New England chapter of Autism Speaks for the fourth consecutive year to host an autism-friendly performance suitable for individuals and families affected by autism and other sensory-related issues. The special show will be held on Sunday, October 21st at 2:00 pm.

For the autism-friendly performance, slight modifications will be made to the show including adjusting sound and light levels at various moments and making foam earplugs available upon request. The Blue Men will keep their approach to the audience more subdued and limit the amount of direct interaction with the audience. Blue Man Group Boston has also partnered with Yogibo to provide a comfortable lounge area near the theater for families seeking a break from the excitement.

"This show is one of our favorites of the year because we're able to bring our unique style of art and music to this audience," said Jonathan Screnci, Resident General Manager, Blue Man Group Boston. "It is extra meaningful to look out and see the joy on everyone's faces as they experience the show."

Tickets for the autism-friendly performance are discounted with $5 from each ticket being donated to Autism Speaks.
