The temperature is dropping. The days are getting a little shorter and ImprovBoston's annual splatter musical, Gorefest is about to rise again. The 10th Annual edition of IB's Halloween musical and comedy extravaganza, 28 Days Latte, runs October 24-31. Tickets cost $25-$20 and $20-$18 with a valid student ID. ImprovBoston is located at 40 Prospect Street. Tickets are available online at www.improvboston.com.

GoreFest X: 28 Days Latte, ImprovBoston's 10th Annual Halloween Horrorshow, is a brand new musical comedy from writer/lyricist Don Schuerman and composer Steve Gilbane. The Zombie Apocalypse arrives, and a bunch of hipsters and two senior citizens are trapped inside a coffee place as they fight back the rampaging hordes. Dripping with tasteless dialog, juvenile humor, and memorable music, this year's show features copious amounts of fake blood, gore and other bodily fluids, not all of which ends up on the actors.

The cast includes: Brendan Mulhern, Patrick French, Julie Devito, Megan Goltermann, Kara Gelormini, Alex LeBaron, Sophia Shrand and Ben Scurria. Special appearances will be made by Bobby Smithney, Misch Whitaker, Courtney Aladro, Katie Drexel, Doug Fitzgerald, Autumn Gillette, Bailey Libby, Shawn Musgrave, and Jonathan Smalls.

The show is directed by Don Schuerman. Steve Gilbane is handling the music direction. Sejal Petal is the choreographer. Props and Special Effects are created by Lynn Wilcott and Michelle Boncek. Claire Smithney is designing the costumes. Deb Reich is decorating the set. Olivia Rizzo is handling fight choreography.

"GoreFest celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year, and we're working to make it a show you won't forget. To celebrate 10 years of blood-spattered fun, we're inviting GoreFest alumni to reprise songs from years past in a special 'pre-show' performance," said GoreFest creator, writer and director Don Schuerman. "And this year's show is the bloodiest, goriest songiest and danciest one we've done yet, and that's before you see what we plan to do to the zombie baby."
