CYT North Idaho Presents HERCULES, 5/18-27

By: May. 10, 2012

Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho (CYT-NI) presents the Premiere of Hercules, May 18 - May 27 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater, 1765 W.Golf Course Rd., Coeur d'Alene, ID. Seventy-six local school children ages 8-18 make up the cast with an additional 25+ on crew all overseen by 65 adult volunteers. All of the children are currently taking theater arts classes in CYT's after-school educational program.

Hercules is the story of a boy who battles monsters -- after he does his chores --all the while dreaming of finding his true destiny. The cast will perform shadow dancing inspired by Pilobolus Contemporary Dance Company. Showcasing original jazzy, scat-filled music, this show will inspire you to follow your dreams while staying true to yourself along the way.

Dates and times are as follows: May 18, 19, 25, & 26 at 7 p.m. AND May 19, 20, 26 & 27 at 3 p.m.

Ticket prices are: $9 for Seniors and children 12 and under; $10 for adults and $12 at the door.
There is a Discount Matinee at 3 p.m. on May 19 where all tickets are $7. Tickets may be purchased online at the CYT-North Idaho website: www.cytnorthidaho.org or by phoning the Box Office at (208) 277-5727.
