CYT-North Idaho Begins Fall Classes at New Campus, 9/11 & 13

North Idaho (CYT-North Idaho) begins their fall session of classes on Sep 11 & 13. Classes will meet at the new CYT-North Idaho Campus at 2775 Howard Street, Suite 7, Coeur d' Alene, every Tuesday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. or every Thursday from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m. for ten weeks.

CYT-North Idaho welcomes children ages 6-18 years to participate in classes. Courses offered this session include: Our Gang, an Intro to Theater Class for 6 & 7 year olds, Drama 101, Dance 101, Voice 101, and a variety of specialty classes including: Musical Theater, Advanced Acting, Make Up 101 and Improv.

All students will perform in Showcase at the end of the session with their respective class at the Kroc Community Theater on Nov 13. In addition to classes, all students ages 8-18 are eligible to audition for the Fall show, Disney's Beauty and the Beast.

Registration for classes and the purchasing of tickets can also be done online at the website and students can register the first day or second day of classes at the CYT-North Idaho Campus. Tuition runs $150-$175 for 22 hours of instruction. Scholarships are available.

CYT is a non-profit after-school theater arts training program for students ages 6-18. Since it's inception in 1981, CYT has grown to be the largest youth theater in the nation. CYT-North Idaho opened with summer camp in July 2007.
