Because I thought I could find someone here who knows:
Can I have some examples of "Naturalistic" plays?
I have to do a naturalistic monologue for my acting class and don't really know what naturalistic entails,
Is "THe Skin of Our Teeth" something that could fit n that category?

Thanks

Didn't your acting teach explain what a naturalistic play is?

The Skin of Our Teeth is not a naturalistic play. Try Ibsen, Strindberg, Shaw, Chekhov.

For more contemporary naturalistic monologues, take a look at Beth Henley's CRIMES OF THE HEART or Marsha Norman's NIGHT MOTHER
