Michael Bennett's style was more rooted in the 60s movement, that, for lack of a better word, would be called 'Go Go Dancing.' That in itself is probably closer to modern hip-hop than what Jack Cole or Fosse did, but the trademark of Bennett's style was a looseness of the back and upper torso that isn't really reflected in this choreography at least.

This is just an homage. Its hip-hop with a Fosse slant. Its definitely not trying to directly be musical theatre dance.

EDIT: I tell you what DOES look like Michael Bennett's style, is the "Single Man dances to Single Ladies" link that Twolita posted. He's got the upper body thing I'm talking about down. But what he is doing is embellishing on the style of the original. He's doing the "don't pop the head, Cassie" version of the Beyonce video...

Why blame it on the young? People who are "older" can be just as uninformed and naive re: Broadway history and how Fosse felt about his work being copied. and yeah - imitation is a sincere form of flattery, Fosse copied anything that looked good, and yes Fosse loved seeing his influence in the work that followed.

Glad to hear there is an expert here such as Choitoy on the majority of the Beyonce fanbase - apparently Choitoy is far superior in his (her?) knowledge on the matter.(Is it really necessary to put down pop fans to trumpet our own Bway knowledge?)
