I don't know how many of you are in the Toronto area, but theres this amazing new online contest that you can enter to win free tickets and merch and stuff.

Anyway, even if you dont live in Toronto, can you please help me win tickets. Its my favorite show in the world and I just cant afford to buy more tickets.

Thanks so much.

Just click on this link to vote for me. Or I suppose you could be selfish and enter yourself... but if you win, can I go with you?

When I saw the thread title I thought, "Oh good, maybe that guy will stop spamming threads with his picture for that contest now."

Sigh.

Could you please ask EVERYONE who has entered to join BWW and start a thread about their entry? Thanks in advance.

PS - Your thread title is misleading. I've fixed it for you.

I must admit, I entered.

But I just want a mouse pad.

But I don't remember the other prizes.

Short term memory loss.

yep.

scuba diving at Isla Mujeres. It was a good time, and since Lucy was wearing a swimming suit, I just figured it was perfect.

I saw this thread and started to get a little threatened... but then I checked the contest page and noticed that I was still ahead of both of you... so everything's good.

If I win, someone can have my tickets.

As I said before, I just want a mouse pad.

Saw both shows in Toronto Sunday (Aug 10). It is in fantastic shape. Even better than when I saw it in Buffalo in May. Rob McClure is simply phenominal as Princeton/Rod. Fantastic actor/singer and terrific puppeteer. He has real STAR quality.
Each time I see the show, I see many subtle things I previously missed. Maggie Lakis is now playing Mrs. T, female Bad Bear and others. She's great.
It's a must see musical. If the tour comes anywhere near you DON'T MISS IT!

I saw the show this past Friday in Toronto and had a GREAT TIME again. It was my third time seeing it (saw it twice in Buffalo). What a hillarious, warm, brilliant show! Rob McClure is A-MAZING. Love him. This guy has incredible talent. The actress who played Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut was also very good and had a beautiful voice, although I did prefer the acting of the actress who played the role here in Buffalo (her name is escaping me right now but she was pregnant at the time.. Kelli Sawyer??). All in all.. a great night out at the theatre... and the Toronto audience ate it all up (especially "My Girlfriend Who Lives in Canada).

I'm an obsessive dork, and I'm actually thinking about taking another quick trip up to Toronto to catch the final show there next Sunday. Anyone know if it's safe for me to chance it with the lottery? The theatre looked pretty full but it was not sold out this past Friday night.

I doubt lottery would be a sure bet for the closing show. I did lottery last week and I did win, but I'd say less than half the people who entered actually won. Everyone who didn't win was able to get rush, but they were told that there were only a few left - so again, it's possible that the allocated rush tickets will sell out before lottery happens, especially for the closing. Not saying you shouldn't try - just something to think about before taking the trip

Yah, I wouldn't suggest the lottery either... also considering it's the last weekend so if you miss out, you won't be able to go.

I noticed that in the youonavenueq.com contest the first 20 people get free tickets to the show for this weekend. It looks like other than the top few contestants, everyone only has about 20 points... which I got in about 5 minutes... so if you invest 30 minutes and just send out your banner to friends through email and such, then you are guaranteed free tickets.

Also, on the website once you have signed up, they offer all contestants an automatic 25% off the tickets if they dont think they are going to win.

The contest ends tomorrow at 6pm.

Check it out.
