If I recall...wasn't she a bit "odd" in a previous cabaret performance?

Odd is what she's sellin', boys. Eccentric, we used to call it. Just like Barbra, before she tuned into a middle aged Yenta on us, semingly overnight. And what a voice! And what a actress!
Did anybody see "Boom Boom Room" or "Rachel Lily Rosenbloom?"
Anyway, it's fine to have her back. I'd be down at Joe's in two minutes had I two cents to rub togther. Starving artist, you know.
Air kisses,

I would love to see her live. I missed her in something called "The First Picture Show", a musical that never made it.

And Namo...what's up with all your negative comments? If you don't have anything to add, then shut up.

Right. Calling someone "odd" was such a postive thing to write?? You're not the only avenger of negativity.

I'm with Gladys. And Hedwig. I celebrate the "misfits," I don't belittle them for their differences.

And that is what I love about Miss Ellen Greene and why I think Mr Tuttle was being unnecessarily cruel and hurtful.

Namo, This post is about Ellen Greene, not you. Please take your non-Ellen comments to another thread.

Thank you. Broadway Bulldog.

Thank you for your wonderful suggestion. I went back to my original post to make the link to the topic at hand very explicit, for those among us who need their themes CONCRETE.

Ellen Greene plays a small but through-role in the film The Cooler curently in limited release. Its almost all a visual role, and the character, a bottle blonde bartender, looks like the dog's dinner with a cigarette constantly in her mouth.

Had I not been reading the credits I would not have recognized her.

I saw Rachel Lily Rosenbloom and Don't You Ever Forget it. A mess of the legendary kind, but Ellen was a diamond in a sewer.

Does anyone know where to get the sheet music to "If you Leave Me(Can I Come Too)" from Put a Little Love in Your Mouth?

Now this, I'm really sorry I'm missing. I love Ellen Greene and she's anything but "odd". She's a major talent and shouldn't be put down because she isn't part of the whole pandering to the fans/public "stepfordish fake nice" women that saturate the community right now.

I don't think she's sitting around, hoping that the members of this board are listing her on yet ANOTHER "who's the nicest actor/actress", thread.

Again, this is one of those times that I wish I was back east.

Many of my friends did and said she looked and sounded brilliant. Particularly moving was her performance of Somewhere that's Green. I'm very happy to hear that, but I still wish I had seen it for myself. Good for Ellen Greene.
