Ok, one of the most common threads on these boards are those with reviews, debating directorial choices, even questioning orchestrations. So, I was wondering, if you could produce any Broadway show (You could even change something in the show, like take away a number, or anything), what would you do to make it a perfect production, for you. This includes anything from a certain approach on the material, to design choices, and even your choice of theater

Example: A production of 1776, directed by Arthur Laurents. The design would be similar to the design in the recent revival, with the entire congress set on a turntable, which enables the audience to see outside scenes. The third scene would be cut in half, by having many of the introductions to the various congress members being placed in the first scene. Also, the belltower scene from the movie would be added to the beginning of the play, and Abigail Adam's entrances would be a little more magical than simply walking on, by having her appear on a large swing. The theater of my choice would be the Walter Kerr, for being both a bit spacious, but still intimate.

Your turn!

Little Shop of Horrors- The Marquis Theatre
With Kate Shindle and Christian Borle
Directed by: John Waters
Choreographed by: Rob Ashford
I would give more of a dream-like quality to Somewhere that's Green. And (gasp) five plants with an enormous finale plant being the new one.
