Understudy Question ..?#1

When an understudy goes on for a lead role, does that person get to use the leads single person dressing room? Or, do they still dress and get ready in the ensemble dressing room?

For example, when Becky or Haven goes on for Laura Bell Bundy, do they get to use Bundys "star" dressing room?

yes they do... its like a whole bump up situation, if haven was on for elle haven whould use laura bells dress room, and if then becky was on for haven, becky would use havens dressing spot.

let's hope not--I would imagine that the understudy almost HAS to use the star's dressing room because all the costume and prop stuff would be set in there and it's also likely closer to the stage as well--it's just more convenient...there probably wouldn't be room for all the costume/wig changes that Elle has in a shared dressing room. Most of them are pretty small.
