I learned that during the 2nd Fredi thread. It's really very useful. Aigoo ought to add that to her FAQ.

"`I grow old... I grow old... I shall wear the bottoms of my trousers rolled.` What does that mean, Mr. Marlowe?" "Not a bloody thing. It just sounds good." He smiled. "That is from the `Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock.` Here's another one. `In the room women come and go/Talking of Michael Angelo.' Does that suggest anything to you, sir?" "Yeah -- it suggests to me that the guy didn't know very much about women." "My sentiments exactly, sir. Nonetheless I admire T. S. Eliot very much." "Did you say, 'nonetheless'?" - The Long Goodbye by Raymond Chandler

Yeah, I've been using that for a while...not only because it takes you to the last page, but you don't have to have the "unbolded" thread titles, which annoy me for whatever.

Duh, I didn't know it either. I often wondered why they didn't have a short cut, but not enough to actually ask about it. re: i just realized you can click on the last comment column ...

Thanks cturtle!

But don't you only have to click on the number of the last page and you're there? You think YOU'RE dumb, I still don't know what you mean!

When you're on the main board looking at the threads, click on the last comment column of the thread you want to read, and it'll bring you right to the last page.

Oh I see, but all it does is save one click, right? the other way, you'd have to click on the thread you want, then on the number of the last page. Yay, thanks for the explanation. I'm slow all the time, not just in the am.

I learned it on the Fredi thread too. Very useful, especially in a thread like that one.

BSoBW3, that's exactly why i do it. i don't know why, but i don't like the thread titles to be unbolded. this is a very nice feature. re: i just realized you can click on the last comment column ... re: i just realized you can click on the last comment column ...

Thanks, cturtle. I had no idea, either, but then, I'm not the brightest bulb on the marquee when it comes to message boards (or most else, come to that).

The unbolded thing just puzzles me - I like knowing which threads I've already looked at.

Anyway, I wish I'd figured out last comment clicking a year ago, I could have saved a few hours. Here's another shortcut if you're posting a lot on one thread. You can go directly to the reply page by finding the BWW page in your history that ends with "Resource on the Internet." At least that's the way it looks on my computer.
