Chasing Nicolette

I saw this show at the Westport country Playhouse as Nicolette and Aucassin several years ago and absolutely loved it. I've been waiting anxiously for years to see it again. when will it finally open in NY?

It was supposed to open this Fall at the Little Shubert, but some of their major financial backers pulled out for some reason. It's a great piece, but I don't think the producers have their sh*t together.

the problem is that the new producers of the show wanted complete control over the artistic vision of the New York show, and the creative team didn't want to give up control, so an impass was created, and the show never went on.

Well that may be the case, but it's also true that they "lost" nearly $1M in funding right after they'd cast the show.
