I'm going to see AIDA tomorrow afternoon, and I want to know what to expect from Michelle Williams. Can anyone give a short review, or describe her overall performance? Thanks so much.

She's painful. Can't sing, can't act, looks pretty if a little too thin though. Basically, she doesn't have enough power in her voice for that role; she sings like she's ingested a large amount of helium. The only saving graces are when she really lets loose and belts, such as in "The Gods Love Nubia." Her line deliveries leave something to be desired.

Well, she didn't irritate me, but she wasn't anything special as well. She does look pretty though ! There were times that she was whispering and in some bits I couldn't understand what she was singing (and I was on second row). She was very good in The Gods Love Nubia and Elaborate Lives.

Take care

In a word, AWFUL...in 2..Macy Gray. And that comparison is not meant to be flattering.

THAT I would pay to see. Macy with her giant Afro, showing up three hours late. Bring a little excitement to the proceedings. And some mojo.
