Paul Wontorek at Broadway.com says that Sutton might star in "Little Women." Excuse my ignorance, but I don't know anything about this book or any of the movie versions. What kind of role is Jo? Is it a good part for her?
Jo March: an aspiring writer, spunky, fiery, a bit of a tomboy...
Sutton would make a fine Jo and I could see her in the role, but I personally am rooting for Kerry O'Malley. I dunno, she's just been involved with it for so long. And I'd love to see her back on Broadway again.
i think Gavin would make a good Amy March... or wait... Alice or no! Sherie... or amy... damn it's just so hard to cast these days being that there are only 3 performers
Sutton looks a lot younger without the Millie Wig on and I think she would be good for that role. Come on now Broadway doesn't exactly stick to the exact age to play characters Look at Hairspray not one of the 16 year olds are under 20 a few are or where closer to 30. I think Sutton could definitely play the role and play it well.
If I remember the newest movie correctly Sutton looks a lot like the sister that gets sick but that has nothing to do with her ability to play Jo just a side note.
Grace: My love for you is like this scar (points to elbow) ulgy but permanent!
um, sorry if i'm wrong but the sutton foster website i know is actually supported by sutton so i would guess anything posted up there would have to be somewhat true....

rlbgbc - Playbill.com is saying that Maureen McGovern will be playing Marmee. Interesting choice. The other names involved are: Janet Carroll as Aunt March, John Hickok (Aida) as Professor Bhaer, Danny Gurwin (The Thing About Men) as Laurie, Jim Weitzer as John Brooke, Robert Stattel as Mr. Laurence, Amy Ruthberg as Meg, Megan McGinnis (Belle in Beauty and the Beast) as Beth, Amy McAlexander as Amy, with Christopher Gunn, Larisa Shukiss, Julie Foldesi, Andrew Varela and Anne Kanengeiser.

"Dreams, I've lived within my dreams now it seems I've awakened and they're real, pinch and feel. If one day I walk upon this stage from these wings and play underneath this dome, and if I sing with all my heart, I'll be home"
I just saw this article was posted in another topic and I felt the need to apologize for repeating it. Sorry! I must already be thinking about turkey!
