I know this may sound like a stupid question, but is there an actual meaning for "TKTS" or does it just stand for tickets?? I'm curious, if anyone knows, I would appreciate the explanation. Thanks :O)

ok...so how do you pernounce it...i always say T-K-T-S, or do you just say Tickets.

chinkie azn jai - I've always wondered the same thing. I say it as "T-K-T-S" just to differentiate it. I thought it would sound weird to say "Do they have 1/2 price tickets for [show] at Tickets?"
Okay, so it's not really that big of a deal - just things that pop into my head randomly.

Yeah, I say T-K-T-S as well. I love that place. My friend and I got there at 10 in the morning on a Friday (when the place doesn't open til 3) and we were the first in line, but people started coming around noon so it was good that we got there early, even if we just sat around for 5 hours. Good conversation, good tunes, we were happy. And we got ridiculously good seats to Little Shop.
everyone i've heard in new york says the letters out. i think if it were pronounced like the word it would be too confusing. "let's go to tickets.." "excuse me?"
