Brainstorm for Newsies

Hi friends!

Was curious. Currently choreographing a Newsies finale for dance studio I teach at. Any ideas for a historically accurate object to swap-out for 'cigar' in the line "Hey! That's my cigar!" at the start of Carrying the Banner? The culture of the area and studio wouldn't do well with that line - and no, we aren't using the Jr. Version because it cuts out all of that dialogue that we need at the beginning of that song. Any ideas?
