Thins can always be toned down. The message of the show is the same, Pippin is not about sex, it's about a young guy trying to find his place in the world. In fact, one could even argue that Pippin was lost when he went to war and had orgies, but found himself when he got a traditional family. I've got a friend who's Christian to the core and she loves Pippin
