Stop dressing like crap!  Aug 1 2015, 01:06:44 PM

We have to remember that the NY Post is a glorified tabloid, and things that people can argue about sell tabloids.

Jake Gyllenhaal Stage door  Jan 14 2015, 09:18:21 AM
He stage doored on Opening Night. There were only about 8 of us who had seen the show at the door (2 left before Jake Gyllenhaal came out, and only 4 of us were there for Wilson). There were 10 or so paparazzi/random picture takers and people just wanting Gyllenhaal and Wislon to sign photos of themselves. None in that group had seen the show, and their group grew by two photographers as we waited for the stars to come out.

All the paps and signature hounds were to the right as Gyllenha

Constellations Reviews  Jan 14 2015, 09:06:25 AM
Just my two cents:

Word of mouth on this show during previews was pretty negative, so I went in with low expectations; however, I was excited nonetheless to see the show. My thoughts on leaving: it was a good show. Not the best play I have ever seen, but no where near the worst. It was a very intelligently constructed 70 minute love story that was always interesting. The acting is superb! Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Wilson are well directed by both the show's director and movement coach to

Anyone seen Bedbugs?  Oct 28 2014, 01:25:12 PM
I adored the show. It's like ROCKY HORROR meets LITTLE SHOP. It closes soon. Don't miss it!
Will Norm Lewis record Phantom songs?  Sep 4 2014, 08:59:35 AM
I would love for a new recording to be made. Both my Original London Cast Recording and the 25th Anniversary Concert Recording play so quietly on my iPod. It's like listening to whispers. I would love a new recording that actually played at a decent volume on my iPod. Especially, since PoTO is the only music I have this problem with.

AND I AND SILENCE  Aug 26 2014, 02:04:45 PM
I saw it during previews as well, and I wasn't terribly impressed. I felt that the pacing was terrible and that much of the play dragged. We were told more than shown about the more gritty and interesting moments. The final three scenes were the strongest, but it was struggle to get through the 80 minutes that led up to those scenes.
First Look at Andrew Rannells as Hedwig  Jul 22 2014, 01:25:56 PM
I'm excited to see the show with him in it. I'm unable to see it with NPH. However, I like the NPH poster better. It looks darker and edgier. The Rannells poster is brighter...
Heathers  Jul 22 2014, 01:23:01 PM
The problem with HEATHERS, and I only reviewed the album and have not seen it on stage, is that it makes everything seem so happy and peppy. The film was DARK and witty. The lyrics to the show are so sophomoric and witless. Nothing in them bites or cuts the way it should. You shouldn't be bouncing along and tapping your toes to HEATHERS. You should discomforted and unnerved. I probably won't be seeing it on stage unless the PR team invites me to see it and give the album another go (which is unl
TUTS  Jun 20 2014, 05:33:42 PM
Regardless of the controversy, the final product at TUTS Underground was a delightful evening of theater. I'm sad to see it shutdown this way. As a long time fan of the documentary, I felt that the vision given to the show at TUTS Underground paid a more than respectable homage to the true story behind the musical. It shared the heart of every character with us and touched the heart and soul of all who saw it.

Flashdance coming in this season?  Jan 12 2014, 09:58:12 PM
I did not like it in Houston, and I don't think any of the Houston critics reviewed it positively. I remember finding a few things to highlight as positives, but overall, it was lacking.
