Ain’t Misbehavin’ is one of the great theatre tribute musicals featuring the African American musicians of the 1920’s and 30’s who were part of the Harlem Renaissance, an era of creativity, cultural awareness and ethnic pride. Five performers present an evening of rowdy, raunchy and humorous songs and dances that encapsulate the various moods of the time and reflect Fats Waller’s view of life as a journey meant for pleasure and play.
